Jharkhand Kenyu Ryu Karate Do Association (JKRKDA) was established in 2013 with a simple goal: to bring authentic, disciplined martial arts training to the students of Jharkhand. What began with a handful of students has grown into an association that has trained hundreds of karateka, many of whom have gone on to earn their black belts and now teach as certified instructors themselves.
Rooted in the Kenyu Ryu Karate tradition, our curriculum blends time-tested Japanese martial arts discipline with programs in Taekwondo, Silambam, Kobudo and Yoga — giving every student a well-rounded path toward strength, focus and self-defence.
To make traditional martial arts accessible to every student, regardless of age or background, and to build discipline, confidence and self-defence skills that extend well beyond the dojo.
To grow JKRKDA into a leading martial arts association recognised across India — producing internationally competitive athletes and community leaders trained in respect, responsibility and compassion.
Karate is a way of life, not just a sport. Every belt promotion is a milestone in character as much as technique — patience, humility and perseverance are taught alongside every kata.
JKRKDA was established, opening its first training batches for students in Jharkhand.
Growing demand led to new student batches joining across different age groups, including many who continue training today.
Long-serving students began advancing into Sensei roles, strengthening the academy's own instructor pipeline.
JKRKDA now runs structured programs across Karate, Taekwondo, Silambam, Kobudo and Yoga, led by a team of certified black-belt instructors.
Whether you're a first-time student or returning to the mat, there's a place for you at JKRKDA.
